The sixth session of the Regional Conference will be held from 18 to 20 August 2026 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Provision may be made for a limited number of side events as it is an excellent opportunity for member States, United Nations agencies and civil society organizations to discuss various issues related to the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development. Side events will take place at times that do not overlap with the plenary sessions of the Conference. The schedule of side events will be published on 15 July.
