Sixth meeting Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Population and Development

The Sixth meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean is scheduled to be held at ECLAC headquarters in Santiago on 29 and 30 October 2025. At the meeting, the Technical Secretariat will present the document Persons with Disabilities: From Statistical Visibility to the Exercise of Rights, prepared with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the governments will report on national progress in the implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development. All ECLAC Member States are expected to participate, as well as representatives of the United Nations system and civil society.
