The demands of girls, boys, adolescents and youth, aging, sexual and reproductive health, and the persistence of gender gaps were among the issues addressed during the second day of the Regional Conference on Population and Development.
The President of Peru, Martín Vizcarra, inaugurated today the work of the third session of the Conference, being held through Thursday, August 9, in Lima.
The third meeting of the Regional Conference on Population and Development, organized by ECLAC and the government of Peru, with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), will take place on August 7-9 in Lima.
At their third meeting, held on 4-6 October in Santiago, the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Population and Development adopted a format to be used for national reports on follow-up to measures in this area.
